Stuart Moore To Adapt Marvel's Civil War As A Novel

Stuart Moore was a DC editor for the Helix line, which launched amongst other things, Transmetropolitan. Working for Vertigo, he was then headhunted by the Jemas/Quesada Marvel and worked as both editor and writer there before setting up his own publishing venture. Of late, he's been doing for doing a little bit here, a little bit there.

Well now it seems he's doing a lot there.

Adapting the Marvel series Civil War, originally by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven into a prose novel in June – the first of a number of books to be launched the near future.

Civil War was one of the best selling English speaking comics of the last ten years, and its crossover success, raising the sales of other books, is something that Marvel have failed to recapture of late.

Might this be another chance in another medium?
