The Singapore office of 20th Century Fox have released an "international" trailer for McG's This Means War. It runs considerably shorter than the US cut, and has a slightly different emphasis.
I still can't understand how we're supposed to sympathise with or root for Reese Witherspoon's character at all. If the script is really up to snuff it will acknowledge her dubious morals. I don't care if she's given an opportunity to redeem herself or not, I just can't ignore the dodgy attitudes and selfish actions inferred by this set-up.
And don't even get me started on the preposterous machismo that the guys will need to indulge in just to keep the narrative engine ticking over. You can't make this plot move forward unless both of the leading men are cast as jerks.
Still, this could give us a lot of fun, especially if Tom Hardy and Chris Pine get lots of chances to interact.
