Wednesday Trending Topics: Half-Man… Half-Reptile… THE LIZARD

Wednesday Trending Topics: Half-Man… Half-Reptile… THE LIZARDLots of mixed to negative commentary out there about the potential look of the Lizard in the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man film — if the pic is indeed authentic.  Like a lot of classic characters, this one was always going to be tough to get right on film — a lizard in a lab coat took a Ditkoesque level of talent to do in the 1960s. Translate that to film and add 50 years of geek culture evolution, and you've got a tough challenge indeed.
