Superior Kapow World Record Special Hits $13 On Day Of Sale

Superior Kapow World Record Special Hits $13 On Day Of SaleYesterday, Bleeding Cool talked about the Superior Kapow World Record #1 comic, a comic created in 12 hours by a group of big name and small name comics creators at the Kapow Comic Convention earlier this year, to raise money for charity.

And how, for some reason, it was limited to 10,000 copies, causing all stores who ordered copies to be allocated on the numbers they received.

Cue instant sellout.

And by the end of the day, copies of the $2.99 comic were selling on eBay for $13 plus postage. Of course, none of that extra money is going to the charity the book was published to help.

When asked about the limited print run, Mark Millar replied "We'll reprint if there's a demand. Of course. But book was done in 12 hrs. I wanted to test waters with limited run first."

Of course, there was demand, as retailers ordered many more copies than they received…
