Yesterday, Bleeding Cool reported on the closure of all four Phoenix branches of Atomic Comics earlier this week, after owner Michael Malve declared bankruptcy, to the shock of the industry.

It also came as quite a shock to its customers, especially with the DC Relaunch imminent.

Local Phoenix store All About Books And Comics has come to a deal with comics distributor Diamond over the store's outstanding orders and will honour any orders made with Atomic Comics, even the more speciality items.

There's only one All About Books And Comics, on North Central Ave. But they think they can cope. Phoenix readers, let us know how they do…

UPDATE: That was until a customer of Samurai Comics, also of Phoenix, Arizona got in touch with Bleeding Cool to say that they's been told that Samurai had taken on this week's shipment to Atomic Comics – and not only that, but have taken a temporary lease on the store next to Atomic Comics is Mesa, so that they can sell comics to arriving customers unaware of the closure.

Or aware now.

So which is better? Samurai or All About Books And Comics? There's only one way to find out…
