Friday Trending Topics: FF*2

Friday Trending Topics: FF*2As a longtime FF fan I've been pretty intrigued to watch the various 50th anniversary and issue #600 plans unfold. It does feel more than a little weird that this is rolling out right in the wake of the Kirby v Marvel decision, as others have noted. The FF is THE title I most associate with Jack, even more so than Captain America. But at the same time, turning my back on his legacy on this occasion would also seem strange — not to mention the fact that I have a lot of respect for the current creators and Marvel people involved. Discussion over these matters has been fast and furious in the BC forum over the past week, and something tells me it's going to continue unabated as the industry commemorates the 50th anniversary of one of Jack Kirby's most important creations.
