I love it when an old comic becomes a new key. Anybody can tell you that Vengeance of Bane #1 is the first appearance of Bane, but what about this John Blake character? Bleeding Cool showed you this story awhile back which appeared in Batman #13 from 1942. Is this the same character that becomes the person that Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays in The Dark Knight Rises? It's a bit of a mystery, but lots of people linking to Bleeding Cool seem to think so.
