Saturday Trending Topics: The Gold Key To My HeartAnother Free Comic Book Day is in the books, and judging from the 440 or so comic book retailers on twitter, it was another good one. In other news, it sounds like Dark Horse's Gold Key line is being cancelled. Shame about that. Magnus was one of the first comics I bought on my own, during the end of the original Gold Key run, and I've loved those characters ever since. Ah well, next time.

For the last year, Dark Horse has been publishing titles originally published by Gold Key and owned by Classic Media, Magnus, Robot Fighter, Turok, Son Of Stone, Doctor Solar, Man Of The Atom and continuity algned titles such as Mighty Samson and Doctor Spekto. And they has the man who relaunched these comics in the nineties to much success with Valiant, Jim Shooter, to write them. And used Free Comic Book Day last year to launch the titles.
