Numbercrunching DC July 2011 Solicitations

A mixture of Flashpoint and Retroactive has kept the title count high, even as the month slips back into four weeks instead of five.

Well it looks like DC are ramping up production into the summer months. And the Teen Titans: Games solicitation counts, even if it only actually comes out in September.

But very much this is a keeping on keeping on month as Batman and Teen Titans double up and the War Of The Lantern Aftermath extra-size volume helps out too.

And that's where we are.

So on with the numbercrunching.

New stats in bold, old stats below. Looking at new books featuring DC Universe characters, month by month by month.

July:  69 books – 59 titles at $2.99 (20 pages of story),2 titles at $3.99 (30 pages of story), 7 at $4.99 (46 pages of story) and 1 at $24.99 (144 pages of story).

Complete cost: $244.31 for 1706 pages of story content ($14.3 cents a page)

December: 56 books – 33 titles at $2.99 (22 pages of story), 12 titles at $3.99 (30 pages of story) 8 titles at $3.99 (22 pages of story) 2 titles at $3.99 (44 pages of story), 1 title at $5.99 (80 pages of story)

Complete cost: $192.44 for 1430 pages of story (13.5 cents a page)

January: 56 books – 52 titles at 2.99 (20 pages of story), 4 titles at 3.99 (30 pages of story)

Complete cost: $171.44 for 1160 pages of story content. (14.8 cents a page)
