Arleston and Tarquin's Lanfuest Goes On Hiatus

Arleston and Tarquin's Lanfuest Goes On HiatusThe mega-successful French comic book series Lanfuest de Troy has gone on hiatus,

Arleston and artist Didier Tarquin will instead spend their year producing more volumes of the much less successful Gnomes de Troy, basically L'il Lanquest.

The last series Lanfeust Odyssey suffered serious criticism but this is the equivalent of DC giving up on Batman to concentrate on Batman Adventures. Of course in a creator-owned-and-controlled it's not that unusual to reject commercial success for a more personally satisfying project.

Trolls de Troy, also written by Arleston but drawn by Jean-Louis Mourier has also had an increased schedule, has had two books in a year, instead of one.
