Joe Quesada's Unpublished Cover To X-Factor #87

So I was just talking about my love for Peter David and Joe Quesada's X-Factor #87, the issue in which the new team are psychoanalysed by Doc Samson. It not only introduced us all the the team really efficiently but also gave us insight and backstory to characters we didn't know – and of characters we thought we knew but didn't really.

It was rather good. Still is.

But what I didn't was that Joe Quesada's cover, which has stuck with me, Rahne ripping through the fourth wall…

While the published cover is more intriguing and shows the full cast, I can't say that I don't prefer the unused version…
