Amazon Italy All Over The WorldItalian comic books are popular in all parts of the world. South America specially has a thriving audience for the work. But shipping costs can be inordinately over the top, often costing more than the books themselves.

Well, right now, Amazon.IT is offering 6 Euro shipping to Europe for any non-electronic goods delivery, no matter how many items are in there. And 14 Euros for the rest of the world.

So if you're looking fora volume of Diabolik or Tex, or the latest Milo Manara in the original, this is your chance. In many case you'll be paying less for shipping than if you actually lived in Italy.

UPDATE: In a twist, a number of French consumers say that when they find it hard to get dscounts at Amazon.fr, because of government laws about disounting literature, they are buying French volumes from Amazon.it in droves, with big discounts and relatively low shipping… and I hear Brazilians are loading up in bulk as well…
