Comic Shop Owner Found Shot Dead (UPDATE)
A comic shop owner suspected of statuatory rape of a 13 year old girl, though defended by his family who claim the charges are lies, has been found shot dead.

Kenneth McLure, owner of Legends Comics And Cards in St Louis was arrested at the end of October on the charges of first degree statutory rape, third degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. The latter charge resulted from Kenneth pulling a gun when officers came to arrest him and refused to leave the comic shop for hours, until negotiation put an end to the siege.

His body was found at 1pm at the Route State 66 park. yesterday, after missing a court appearance on Tuesday morning.

Police tracked McLure's car, which was driven away from the scene and found nearby, abandoned, the next day, with two individuals seen leaving the car. You can see a local news report below.

UPDATE: There have been two arrests in the case, a man and a woman. The latter worked at the comic shop and is related to the mother of the 13-year-old girl.
