Alex De Campi Bringing Back The Smoke

Alex De Campi Bringing Back The SmokeIt was one of my favourite comics of the nineties. Smoke, by Alex De Campi and Igor Kordey published by IDW.

A dark and detailed political thriller romp into an alternative history London, incorporating the best of counter-culture iconography and a rich cast of ne'er-do-wells, ne'er-do-welling.

Somewhere between Heart Of Empire and V For Vendetta, it was Eisner nominated… and then slipped into the subconscious of the comics industry.

Anyway, I understand it's back.

Alex De Campi is well into a new Smoke graphic novel. And while the artist is unidentified, as indeed is the publisher, this appears to be a project De Campi is dedicating herself to.

And something we'll be hearing about rather soon.

Any title suggestions? Smoke 2? Too Smokey? Smoke Harder?
