Saladin 2100 To Be Announced At NYCC

Aranim is a new Jordanian company set up by Suleiman Bakhit, about to launch a new line of graphic novels aimed at Middle East audiences, with an eye to the West.

This includes what they are calling the Middle East's first sci-fi comic. Devised by Bakhit, Saladin 2100 shows an apocalyptic Jordan described as Mad Max meets Braveheart by Tony Lee and Ant Jones. It will be painted by Puppeteer Lee – with visuals below.

Then there's Bakhit's Element Zero, described as a Middle East version of 24. And Balloon Girl, a new series by Tony Lee and Dan Boultwood. All the books will be simultaneously published in English and Arabic

In other Tony Lee news, MTV Geek will launch tomorrow with news of Agent Mom and The Gloom by Lee and Boultwood being picked up for the site. And it looks like his Danger Academy book will be coming out from Kickstart.

Will Tony Lee have the most stories coming out of NYCC?
