DC Universe Online Delayed Till Next Year

DC Universe Online Delayed Till Next YearThe DC Universe MMORG being championed by Jim Lee has been a loong time coming. Well, it looks like you'll have to wait a few more months for its debut.

However external beta testing is about to start next week for certain people who have registered. Sony have also announced that everyone who has already pre-ordered the game, and those who do so by November 15th will get beta access by the end of November – if they live in the USA that is. After that, and your beta access will be restricted to a week before launch, though in time for the beta final event, Battle Of The Legends. Beta testers will also get an emblem for their character when the game launches for real. Nothing like a pre-existing clique to kick off a game, eh?

To register for beta without pre-ordering, get to www.dcuniverseonline.com/betakey before midnight tonight (West Coast) to join the queue.

The Playstation 3 Collector's Edition will also have all the physical extras the PC version will have as well, listed as;

the DCUO Batman statue, the limited edition Art of DC Universe Online art book, the DCUO Legends Issue #0 comic book with a Jim Lee variant cover, the DCUO Prestige comic presentation of the DCUO back-story and the limited edition Jim Lee-drawn poster Version of the Issue #0 comic book variant cover.
