Blacksad Is The Best Selling Book In FranceBleeding Cool recently reported on the much-awaited release of the fourth volume of the anthropormophic detective noir series Blacksad, to be published next year in the US by Dark Horse.

Well in France, it's done rather well. It's currently the best selling book in the country.

It's not alone in the charts however. The seventh volume of the biker comedy comic Joe Bar Team comes in at number two – while the second volume of Lanfuest Odyssey is at number seven, with the fiftieth volume of Naruto bringing up the rear at number seventeen. In all you'll find thirty comics in the top two hundred – and the twelfth volume of The Walking Dead at number fifty-eight.
