Strip Magazine Lands Hookjaw

Hookjaw was a shark-based strip that appeared in the eventually-banned British boys comics Action, a precursor to 2000AD.

Now the Bosnian-now-UK-based publisher of the upcoming Strip Magazine has grabbed the rights to use the character in the title.

The strip by Pat Mills, Ken Armstrong, Romon Sola, Felix Carrion and Eric Bradbury will be reprinted in colour courtesy of Gary Caldwell (with enw lettering by Jim Campbell), and may be followed by Action-stable mate secret agent Dredger.

But in order to continue the strip, the publisher is trying to source good quality copies of the original issues – and even original art. Email John Freeman if you can help…
