Frankie Boyle, Kick Ass And Hit Girl On First Cover Of CLiNT Magazine – And It's Got Nemesis Too
His beard is still unfamiliar to some in the UK. But that's Scottish stand up comedian Frankie Boyle all right on the cover. This image was grabbed from a new video on the website of The Sun – Britain's most popular daily newspaper. Owned by Rupert Murdoch, it delivers right-wing working-class tabloid reactionary fury, combined with topless women in page three most days. Expect CLiNT coverage tomorrow, I guess.
The Sun confirms reports that Jimmy Carr will be writing for future issues of the magazine, but reveals that both Kick Ass 2 and Nemesis will be running in CLiNT Magazine from issue 1.
The video also confirms Bleeding Cool's scoop the other day that Frankie Boyle's strip is going to be called Rex Royd. Though what it's about, if it's not the Hereditary/Project Bloodline project, we are none the wiser.
And as well as images of Jonathan Ross's Turf and Mark Millar looking a little worse for wear, we also get a glimpse at some Kick Ass 2 artwork.
Expect a lot of this from here on in. Links to the article and to the video.
UPDATE: Now the ad hits YouTube;
You know, I wonder if this is why Noel Clarke was looking for an artist last night? Well, no artists were mentioned in the video or the article…
