MovieWatch: Rumours swirl around that The Skrulls will be the big bad in The Avengers movie are emerging – and that they may be the ones that control The Hulk. Also rumours continue that the Kevin Pennington will have a role in the movie and that he will be playing a proto-Captain Marvel.
SnowyWatch: Rare Tintin artifacts are up for sale later this month in Paris, with artwork, novelty items, metal busts with estimated values ranging from 3000€ to 250,000€. That last price is reserved for this double page of original signed art by Herge.
CMExWatch: Deb Aoki does probably the most thorough run down of reaction to the chopping of the CMX line at DC Comics. I am still struck by the cancellation of the line being announced days after solicitations for cancelled titles were sent out to websites. That usually indicates that something interesting happened – and fast.
BayWatch: Megan Fox is gone from Transformers 3. Her reps and movie reps fight it out to say if she jumped or if she was pushed. Will there now be any reason from some people to see the movie?
StudyWatch: The University of California, Santa Cruz gets its own comic art studio – and its very existence is down to the students.
