Neil Gaiman To Give Chicago A Good Talking To

I'm not sure if Kevin Smith will be going.

But at C2E2 (Chicago Comic and Enterteinment Expo), the new Chicago-based comic convention organised by Rees Exhibitions, Neil Gaiman will be giving a theatrical reading from his work to an audience, to benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, which intervenes in free speech matters that affecting comic book industry in the USA.

It's ten years since Neil Gaiman did this kind of thing in the US, in which time we've seen the American Gods, Beowulf, Statuesque, Coraline, Graveyard Book, Whatever Happened To The Caped Crusader, that sort of thing. So it might be quite successful.

Tickets will be available from Monday. $30 to the general public, $12 to VIP ticket holders.

Looks like he's ready for the windy city. Or at least his hair is.
