New London Show Features Alan Moore, Stewart Lee, Kevin Eldon… Oh And Robin Ince

New London Show Features Alan Moore, Stewart Lee, Kevin Eldon… Oh And Robin InceRobin Ince is a British standup comedian and writer, best known right now for organising and presenting the televised Christmas show, Nine Lessons and Carols for Godless People and for stand up routines that celebrate science, humanism and Darwinism.

Well, he's got a new show at the end of the month called Robin Ince's School for Gifted Children Holiday Special timed in the runup to Easter and, as usual it is packed to the rafters with guest speakers.

One of whom is Alan Moore (BoJeffries Saga)

Ince describes the show as;

The best lecture you ever had, but all splintered and haphazard, like the popular children's magazine of knowledge, Look and Learn. Like a Show and Tell, with less dinosaurs and more words. And some of those Words will be songs. A whole curriculum of wit and accidental profundity.

Other prominent names include one of the finest stand up comedians in existence, comic book fan Stewart Lee (co-writer and director of Jerry Springer The Opera), Kevin Eldon (Spaced, The Twelve Ronnies, Four Lions), ex-Daily Mail gossip columnist-turned comedian Bridget Christie, comedian Joanna Neary (Mitchell And Webb, Notting Hill), musicians Darren Hayman (Hefner), Jim Bob (Carter USM) and more to sign on.

The show will be at 7.30pm, Monday 29th March at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London.

Tickets are £18.50, concessions £15, look for more details here and book here.
