Brian Bendis is returning to Fanboy Radio for the 25th of September. And they've managed to get Jim Mahfood to celebrate the event with this rather snazzy piece.

A week ago, a comics studio contracted me teling me they were owed money from a prominent comics publisher, who would not return their e-mails. So I sent one. And suddenly those emails get answered and there's proof the money os now on the way. Amazing what a little intervention can do.

Nikki Finke asks if Marvel's movie guy Kevin Fiege will take over Disney's Dick Cook's job as Disney Chairman after Cook's dismissal.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige spent a lot of time with Disney CEO Bob Iger during the dealmaking to buy the company, and Feige impressed the hell out of Iger.

jediThe founder of the worldwide Jedi religion was escorted from his local supermarket for refusing to remove his brown Jedi hood. Over the last few years, there has been concern about the "hoodie" trend, young men and women wearing hooded garments that disguise their identity to intimidate and steal without identification. Morda Hedol, known as Daniel Jones to his mum, says that the treatment by international supermarket brand Tesco was victimising him over his beliefs, and that someone wearing more recognised religious garb would be offended if targeted in a similar fashion.

It states in our Jedi doctrination that I can wear headwear. It just covers the back of my head. You have a choice of wearing headwear in your home or at work but you have to wear a cover for your head when you are in public.

But Tesco seems to have its own geek cred, and has pointed out that the most prominent Jedis in all the movies appear without their hoods.

Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Luke Skywalker all appeared hoodless without ever going over to the Dark Side and we are only aware of the Emperor as one who never removed his hood.

If Jedi walk around our stores with their hoods on, they'll miss lots of special offers.

Morda explains about the Jedi religion further;

We have 500,000 members in our church. It is a religion founded in Wales with a scripture and ceremonies.

You're not really helping your case there, Morda…

Tom Brevoort finally gets his Fantastic Four #1

Where in the world is Gotham City Sirens #3? The real issue that is, solicited as being by Paul Dini with the solicitation;

With their uneasy alliance in place, the sirens encounter trouble in the form of the mysteriously returned Bruce Wayne. He's dazzling, he's dangerous and he's got his sights set on Harley Quinn! Has romance sparked between these two long-time enemies – or is Wayne playing a more sinister game?

When it arrived with the same cover and same artist (Guillem March) but written by Scott Lobdell and with hardly a Siren in sight, most a Riddler/Batman story…

Friday Night In Twitter:

Marv Wolfman: Heading home after a week in Austin working on the DCUniverse MMO. man is the game looking great.

Brian Wood: my DV8: sex, death, magic, war, dopesmoke, and structural engineering… just what all teenagers go through, right?

Erik Larsen: Who starts off a book with plans for over 150 issues? I make this up as I go along!

James Robinson: Alan Moore makes being a warlock look easy and cool. Based on him all I thought I'd need is a long beard, an icy glare for photos

Jann Jones: D*mn I hate homunculus

Jill Thompson: Wanted to soak in this cute little bathtub. But there is no stopper thingie! Not dressed up with noplace to go! #bathfail

Tony Lee: I have never once paid an artist to draw something of mine. I have always given equal splits, but I've always found someone with the same desire and dream that I have. They know as much as me that the art they do will make a comic that THEY can then show an editor.

Ben Templesmith: Slightly worried. "Dr Demo" Demolition services have just parked & are hooking up some device directly across me on the street.

I had real difficulty getting out of bed this morning. Damn that Derren Brown.
