Thursday Morning Runaround – Dan Dare, Wednesday On Thursday, Tom Strong And A Big Fat Geek Party!

Chorion, the company that has already bought up the rights to Noddy and Mr Men has announced they have now bought the licensing rights to Dan Dare. The British space adventurer was recently revived by Dan Dare and Gary Erskine for Virgin Comics. Deals already done by Chorion include greeting cards, clothing, figurines and toys, Russimco launching their first Dan Dare line in 2010. Of course Dynamite continues to collect and publish the Virgin line, and Spaceship Away publishes classic-style Dare stories.

More people pile into the love for Wednesday Comics. And Todd Allen shines a light on the publication– literally.

And the rest of the media talk about the judgment that the Siegel family can only go after DC Comics Superman money not Warner Bros money.
