Not everything in Muppets Most Wanted is as it might first appear.
Kermit has an evil doppelganger in the new Muppets film, the explosives-loving master criminal, Constantine. Here he is pitching a plan to his number two, Dominic Badguy.
“We went to the Tower of London and asked and usually they’d say no, but this time we said, ‘It’s for The Muppets’, so they said, “We love Kermit even more than James Bond” and so the drawbridge was lowered.”
There’s a part of me that doesn’t want to watch any clips from Muppets Most Wanted until I can sit down and see the whole film again. There’s another part of me that just clicked play already.
We’ve got some tickets for a very early screening of Muppets Most Wanted in London on Sunday February 23rd. That’s over a month before the film’s UK release.
I visited the set of this film and… ended up in the hospital. This isn’t the story of that. Yet. But it is exciting.
It remains to be seen if Muppets Most Wanted will be better than The Muppets, but I’ve got a lot of faith in this team.
