Is That The Birth Of Thanos In April?
From Jason Aaron and Simone Bianchi in April from Marvel. Something involving a birth. And something involving someone purple.
My best guess is a Thanos Origin series, the like of which was cancelled last year before publication. Could this be what it was cancelled for?
Or, you know, it could be Psylocke.
Oh and Comics Alliance is handed this artwork for upcoming Deadpool in April with Mike Hawthorne drawing the book.

Eh, I dunno. I feel if it was Thanos Marvel would've gone the extra mile and given the words little ridges at the bottom like his chin (Seriously, I think they'd do something like that). Plus, Aaron's never been much of a cosmic story writer.
Not that I have a suggestion as to what it could be, but Thanos doesn't seem to be a fit.

What about Genesis, the Apocalypse clone? Purple kinda fits, Jason Aaron wrote him in WATXM and birth and genesis both have a similar meaning.
Just a thought...

Hawthorne is great. Awesome news for him to be on the Deadpool book.
Another interesting theory with BIRTH being Thanos-related is his love of the entity of Death and how that teaser makes for an interesting converse clue.Writer/Editor/Talent Acquisitions/Production- Grayhaven Comics www.grayhavencomics.com

- Arkham Asylum, but I like to "Summer" in Coast City.
Given Marvel's new-found emphasis on the cosmic line, Thanos' prominence at the end of the Avengers movie, and the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie, a Thanos title is a safe bet. But I also agree with OwningXylophone that a Genesis series is also a good bet, given Aaron's work on the character in Wolverine and the X-Men.
Let's just hope and pray it isn't yet another solo Wolverine title, esp. not one about his "origins".
