Matt Smith's Face Appears In Doctor Who Titles
We'd heard this was coming. Of course we'd heard this was coming for the fifth series rather than the seventh. Better late than never.
From the titles of tonight's Doctor Who. Matt Smith's face in the, frankly, rather bonkers new title sequence. We thought it might be indicative of other aspects from early Doctior Who. And from tonight's episode, it looks like that's bang on the money.
I'll write a Ten Thoughts tomorrow. But why not send me yours first?

I just loved the Sherlock scene where Murray Gold's score turned into a brilliant pastiche of the Sherlock incidental music.

Loved the ep, but as is standard for Moffat, plot is out the window for the sake of a mysterious woman.

I loved the episode. Energetic, timey-wimey and Moffat's trademark brilliant dialogue. Just what I wanted for Christmas.

I thought the new introduction was wicked.
Very classic Doctor Who

Loved the new title sequence. A lovely mix of some of the best aspects of the titles over the years, including the (rather refreshing) willy-nilly aspect of the McCoy era titles. There seems to have been a lot of care and effort take here, in contrast to the rather screensaver-like feel of the 11th Doctor's old titles. And when that face appeared... it felt like Doctor Who had come home, some how. I want Matt Smith to stay on for many, many more years. Even if he doesn't last as long as Tom Baker, I'd like another couple of seasons with him. Loved the new TARDIS interior, too.

Yeah, I rewatched the intro a few times myself. Loved the mix of old and new. Thought it was pretty clever how they put Smith's face in there--blink and you'll miss it.BELIEVE
