Default Jamal Igle's Molly Danger, In Design

The successfully Kickstarter-funded Molly Danger from Jamal Igle is approaching completion, with the firstv sign in print, the Molly Danger FCBD title. But what other characters will we be seeing apart from the titular Molly? Here's a look at some of Jamal's designs, courtesy of the great man himself.

I've always been a sucker for a pretty face.

These are great. Two-Fisted Tommy is the best. I can hear the sound effect in my head for when the gloves transform.

Jamal's awesome! Loved his SUPERGIRL and FIRESTORM runs. This stuff looks great and I 'll be on the lookout for it.

Where did Grant Morrison get those huge silver gloves?!

Looks fantastic. Igle's artwork is better than ice cream.

    This looks great.

That being said, I have one little criticism about this project. This series looks too damn good to just be a comic, Jamal (if he hasn't done so already) needs to pitch this series as an animated series to Nichelodeon. I can see this series being part of an animated NICK action block along with the LEGEND OF KORRA,TMNT,and the aborted/rejected CONSTANT PAYNE series.

I really want this to be a success.

Great creator, great concept, great opportunity to bring in new (girl!) readers.

Jamal, any talks with Scholastic, ala Bone?

Thanks for all of the kind words, guys and gals. No, i haven't pitched it as a cartoon and don't plan to until there's enough to show a studio/vendor exactly the direction I would want to go. So that said once the first book sees print I pursue something. There are other things in the works that as we get the "I"'s and "T"'s dotted and crossed I'll happily announce. As far as a "Scholastic" type deal, that will have to wait until all four albums are done, then there will be enough material (192 pages) for a proper volume of some sort.

Don't know where he got them, but he must have got them back in the 90s/early 00s, before he got a little 'chunkier'.

Oh yeah and I'd like to add my voice to the chorus of approval going on here. I like these drawings a lot!
