Default The Bleeding Cool Poll Results For The End Of 2012

There were tens of thousands of votes. Some were very close. Others had clear winners. But here are the end-of-year polls as voted for by you lot. Congratulkations all... if congratulations are appropriate.

Crassly Commercial Comics Event Of 2012: Before Watchmen

Runners Up, Avengers Vs X-Men (following close behind) and Marvel NOW (well behind)

Favourite Comic Creator Argy Bargy Of 2012: Scott Snyder And Rob Liefeld

Runners Up, both well behind, Chris Roberson And DC Comics and Alan Moore And Grant Morrison. Again.

Maddest Moment Of 2012: Firing Of Gail Simone

Runners Up, Rob Liefeld Storming Out Of DC On Twitter and The Censoring Of Stephanie Brown in Smallville and L'il Gotham

Most Fanciable Comic Creator Of 2012: Becky Cloonan

Runners Up, Matt Fraction and Grant Morrison

Most Surprising (In A Good Way) Comic Of 2012: Hawkeye

Runners Up, Saga and Prophet. All the others well behind.

Most Disappointing (In A Bad Way) Comic For 2012: Avengers Vs X-Men

Runners Up, Before Watchmen and Amazing Spider-Man. By far the most popular category.

Comics Personality Of The Year 2012: Gail Simone

Runners Up, Scott Snyder and Sue From DC Women Kicking Ass, all the others well behind.

Congratulations Gail, and before we leave our most self-serving poll of all...

Bleeding Cool Scoop Of The Year 2012: Before Watchmen Art Proving Its Existence

Runners Up, Gail Simone Off Batgirl, and a tie for Sandman Zero by Gaiman and JH Williams and The Existence Of Marvel NOW!

As it began, so it ends. I wonder what scoops we can rustle up for New Years Day tomorrow?

I don't think I voted for any of the winners (and only a small number of my choices were runners up). I feel all individual now.

So where is the poll for bleeding cools biggest screwup? I nominate the repeated assumptions that it was Scott Summers getting brain surgery in Uncanny Avengers.

Or how the X-Men were leaving Earth after Avengers Vs X-Men and that was the cosmic title Bendis was going to be writing.

Who knows, with all of the x-books Marvel puts out, maybe there will be a "Cosmic X-Men"

I could actually see Marvel do a "Superior X-Men" title.

Or possibly "Superior Wolverine", starring Dog Logan.
