    Default A Very Gotham Conspiracy

There are conspiracy theories regarding the death of JFK. There are conspiracy theories concerning the moon landings. There are conspiracy theories regarding the 9/11 attacks (one of which I believe - that a bunch of Saudis conspired to attack the US using its own passenger aircraft). And even though I pour scorn on many of them, there is often some kind of logic there, even if it gets twisted and warped.

I am struggling to find it in the Gotham conspiracies however.

Currently it centers on the realisation that a part of Gotham in the Dark Knight movies was been renamed from South Hinkley to Sandy Hook, briefly seen on the screen. And this was also seen in maps sent out as promotional items for Dark Knight Rises and seen in published comic books. And that was, apparently, enough to "program" the killer during the most recent American school gun massacre, or program us all to accept it. And this all ties into a political conspiracy to create mass occult rituals.
There can be no question that occult magic is in practice in the upper-most tiers of secret societies and that it is continuously being researched and experimented with using us, the unwitting public, as disposable guinea pigs.

While the public follows a God of light and good, secret occult circles conduct depraved sexual acts (many times involving small children), along with blood sacrifices, and also ritual demonic summoning, possession and worship.

Apparently this is the kind of thing that needs tackling. And not, say, increasing gun control. Which is the work of a satanic Obama.

    Merry Christmas everyone.

Sandy Hook was also a town in New Jersey that was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. The Dark Knight Rises must've influenced Mother Nature, as well.

    Conspiracy theorists are stupid.

Alex Jones makes Glenn Beck look like a well reasoned person.

You gotta remember when dealing with the issue of guns in America that some of those people who want to arm teachers are the same ones that think that very same teacher they want to give a gun and live ammo too "hates little Billy and is the reason he failed 3rd grade".

The guy that has made up this "theory" just made me feel bad for the future of human kind, his "theory" if you can called that is a fairy tale at best and not a very good one. The worst part of all is that some people are actually going to listen to this and believe it.

I like that extra obama message you put there at the end. In no way were you trying to link all conservatives or people who do not support obama to this. Despite the fact ultra conservative website's like Breitbart want to give the Dark Knight Rises, Conservative film of the year awards

And also believe that the teachers they're arming make too much money and are financially crippling the nation. So along with being an unappreciated educator, surrogate parent, guidance counselor, role model, and many other roles, people are now expecting teachers to be combat specialists.

Listen to 5 minutes of Alex Jones' show and you'll understand how much of a deluded nut the guy really is. The irony is that his storming rants against government and society probably inspire more psychologically damaged lunatics to violence than any Hollywood movie.

I live in Austin (Alex Jones' hometown), so I am familiar with Alex and his ramblings. He has been going off about conspiracy theories for at least 15 years or so (probably longer), and was widely ignored until (sadly) 9/11, when more and more people started to believe the shadowy one-world/new-world-order government hand behind every single event in the news. He started off as the harmless kook on cable access that people just ignored, but has become a real power on the Internet and media. He has his own radio program now, numerous websites, films, and many followers. It always breaks my heart to see an "InfoWars" bumper sticker on the pickup trucks around town.

This is of course a silly conspiracy theory, but if there's a slow news cycle in the next week or so, it'll get picked up by Drudge, then by Breitbart, then by Fox, then by people responding to it, then it'll be mainstream. Perhaps the fiscal cliff can keep this from gaining any traction...
