While I prefer reading comics on paper, I will say that MARVEL INFINITY is (IMO) the best way to read a comic digitally on a tablet.

Reasons I've cut back on dead tree books, and use my kindle + ipad a lot:
*The ipad and Kindle don't get wrinkled, or fade from being out in the sun. The pages also can't be torn out.
*You can read them in the bath with a waterproof case. You drop a book in the tub or shower? You're still fucked. As far as reading on a beach goes- for the past several years I've lived within walking distance of a beach. And taken my ipad and kindle with me. Withoutt a fancy pants case. Both have survived; the kindle works better for beach reading, I will admit.
*Shelfspace: As a person that isn't huge and muscle bound, moving 4 odd bookshelves worth of books by myself is a HUGE pain in the ass and undertaking. I can lift my kindle a lot easier than I can an equal number of books. Same goes for magazines. Years of national geographic and PRINT are heavy. Very, very Heavy.
    *Bookmold
-Not a fear on the digital side of things.
    *Searchable Text
This makes researching things SO MUCH EASIER. And I feel like a lazy bitch for doing it... but oh yes, I love it!
*The digital national geographic has voice interviews and videos.
Reasons I like dead tree books and magazines
    *Paper ads in PRINT magazine.
-Spent about a day trying to destroy a waterproof paper sample. It was awesome.
    *Booksmell
*There's something comforting about being surrounded by a massive ton of books that I just don't get from a kindle. People, in general, do not make forts from electronics.
*Being able to lend crud with ease.

I look at a computer screen all day, when I come home and want to read and relax I prefer something printed. I've read a couple digital comics and it is nice and convenient, but still, when all is said and done and my kids clean out my house I want them to at least get a couple bucks for my comics and books.

A couple reasons why I don't buy digital
    - The I Pad suck!
    - I really, really don't need any sort of tablet device at this time
    - Force of habit buying floppies (i really need to stop)
    - A lot of the stuff gets condensed and i want a better experience despite the slightly bigger risk
    - One day i can sell all my comics for ridiculous prices (mwahaha!)
    - I live in east London, I'm not getting robbed for my Kindle

A bit more serious, later on I probably will get a Tablet and buy digital but right now my way just suits me fine and btw it's just as easy to loss you digital files through memory corruption as it is books to water damage.

@Blackfist- the kindlefire looks adorable; and is a bit more portable than the ipad. And less cringe-worthy of an original purchase, as far as reading devices go. That being said: my older kindle keyboard ... I don't want to update it until I run out of space on it.

    because, yaknow...
that'd be a metric fuckton of books.

I read my comics on mi iPad at home, and on my iPod touch at work.

I've sold my entire print collection, and replaced much of the good stuff digitally.
