People are starting to receive these...

Because this item's correct price was higher than our stated price, we made the decision to cancel this item. In accordance with our posted policies on pricing, we were unable to offer this item for the incorrectly posted price.

Our pricing policy is posted in the Help section and is accessible through numerous other areas of our web site. You can read it here:

We realize that the cancellation of this item may have been disappointing, but we want to make sure that your decision to make a purchase with us is based on the most accurate information possible.

Thank you for your understanding with this situation. I hope you will give us a chance to serve you again in the future.

Some have also been given extra discount on future orders.

And... some have had some of their books shipped. I've got copies of Powers Definitive Vol 2 and 3, Walking Dead HC 1 and 2, Punisher Max Vol 4 and Nextwave on the way. Smaller discounts off the normal Amazon prices, comparted to the Omnibus listings, but gratefully received nonetheless.

Well, looks like some will slide and some won't!

Can't wait to see which ones they'll actually let me have at that price.

Maybe we should send a letter to Amazon telling them to get bent.

Those of you who get one of those letters, let us know what time (EST or GMT) that your order was originally placed. I placed orders at 8 and 8:30 EST and have yet to receive a letter.

I was at about the same time, Steve.
I'm sure mine (and maybe yours) is in the mail, sotospeak, but they have to ensure that they process everything fairly, I'm sure.

That looks like they're giving discount where they can, to curry bad favour amongst users.

I'm wondering if their was any correlation between those who got one form a shipping or another in which ones got the letters and which didn't.

I'll take a future discounts/perks. Sure, I"d love to get my order (to turn around and make a killing online), but honestly, a company wants to make right by giving me something I can use on future purchases, that's just as well.

My wife keeps telling me Amazon always makes good on these things when they happen, but I tried to explain to her just HOW MANY people surged to Amazon and brought all those comics to the top sellers list. There's no way Amazon can honor all that stuff, just no way...

Whelp... nothing ventured nothing gained. Lord knows I didn't need to spend $90 on hardcover comic collections.

well, i'm curious about a few things.
for example, GI Joe classics 8 was like $17 before and $15 today.
i cancelled my preorder and placed a new one.
i wonder if that'll be worth thier trouble.

    we'll see.
    i'll let you know.
