Default Avengers Animation Gives Clues To Movie Lineup?

Froma publishing fair in Hong Kong comes this look at the Avengers teams for animation - seems a good way to get the kids used to differing continuities from the get go!

Coud this reflect the upcoming movie cast? Obviously no Wolverine, and maybe Black Panther is his substitute in the slightly-older version of the team, but we've got Wasp and Ant Man on both teams, as well as The Hulk.

And yes, "Hero Up!" sounds almost as convincing as "Geronimo..." doesn't it?

Thanks to Casey Lau for the tip.

Wolverine in general seems to be losing some of his punch.

And he's an "angry black man."

    Perfect.

Wolverine is useless unless he can use his claws to cut people up. Don't put him on a show if he can't do that.

I think the movie version of the Avengers will have Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Nick Fury.

I can't seem them using Black Panther other than maybe a mention or cameo as a possible launch pad for the characters own movie project.

As for Ant Man and Wasp... since the Edgar Wright project seems to have gone on hold and with at least 4 primary characters already, I don't think there will be enough room for them to be introduced and utilised. Again, we might get a cameo or reference as a lead in for a movie project.

Did anyone see the Jon Favreau tweet about the Tony Stark scene at the end of Hulk being after Iron Man 2. Think we might be getting an Avengers shapped easter egg at the end of IM2.

Also, we still haven't seen the actual Black Panther cartoon in the states, have we? Isn't it airing over in Australia?
