Thread: Founder Of Aircel Comics, Barry Blair, Dies

    It's a bad way to have to go, and anyone who knew and liked Barry personally has my sympathies.

    That having been said, I have to be honest and say that Aircel published some of the worst comics of the black-and-white boom. I think that an Aircel comic is one of the few comics that I've paid money for that I ended up throwing in the trash.

Loved brother of Sandra Garland (Roger Camm), Bruce Blair (Suzanne) and cherished partner of Colin Walbridge. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt), on Thursday, January 7, 2010 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, January 8, 2010 at 11 a.m. Those wishing may make donations to the David Suzuki Foundation.
