Default Preview: Alan Moore Dojinshi By Ryusuke Hamamoto

(UPDATE: Hello Farkers, feel free to browse the site, lots of fun stuff...)

Japanese manga artist Ryusuke Hamamoto is creating an Alan Moore dojinshi, or fan book. Oh and a stitchpunk action figure as well...

The story seems to potray a young woman at a British school, in a not-regulation-length skirt, that smells of fish and chips...

...finding Glycon, the Roman sock puppet god worshipped by Alan Moore, in her locker.

As you do. This looks like it could be fun! UPDATE: Oh I see it's actually Alan Moore as a schoolgirl. Obviously.

    Oh, cheer up you...

The best bit is the T shirt:

Although the slogan on the Melinda Gebbie one might be the winner.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

...Wait, the skirt smells of fish and chips?

    [insert FDS joke here]

Always nice to see American.. er.. British comics showing up in Japanese comics and fan comics. Ah, to be in Japan and go to one of those Comiket or any doujinshi cons.

Isn't this the artist of that Compass series from Image?

    Cool

    Coraline?

I'll never look at button eyes the same way again.

He's just using Moore's snake-god as an excuse to tell another Snake/Tentacle porn tale.

I really hope this gets translated.
"As if I walked into the room to see my ex-girlfriend
(who by the way I'm still in love with)
sucking the face of some pretty boy
with my favorite band's most popular song in the background.
Is it wrong that I can't decide which bothers me most?"
