Default What The Avengers Poster Would Be If Designers Could Only Use Clip Art And Comic Sans

The gulf between the posters I see taped inside the window at the local butchers shop and those trapped in perspex at the local multiplex is happily very wide. This image, though, seeks to bridge the two.

Here's what a poster for The Avengers might have looked like if the designer was limited to clip art and comic sans text.

Is this kind of clip art makeover already a meme? It should be.

Thanks to Emma Green and Kat Mellark 221bfor the image.

What, and risk a copyright infringement suit from the guys behind "This is not the Avengers it's a XXX-parody, honest - no it's not ironic, satirical or deconstructive or anything, what do you mean 'definition of parody'? It's got porn-stars and sex in it, isn't that what the word means? "?

My favorite is the stand in for Nick Fury.

I don't understand. If they want somebody to take a pretty nice poster and redraw it so it looks like shit, I'm right here.

I'll just file this under the one that uses Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" as another one I don't really "get."

FINALLY a use for the airplane and hammer clipart!

AND way better than some local township sites I've seen the past two weeks that use animated gifs, clipart AND comic sans. Felt like I was warped to geocities. >,>

Me neither - why equate a film with a multi-million budget to the local meat merchant?

Sometimes I feel so very Margot Leadbetter.

This has to be the stupidest, most useless waste of pixels / electrons / memory in the history of this site, and that's saying a lot.
