The Amazing Spider-Man's New Mary Jane - First Look At Shailene Woodley On Set

Here are the first on-set snaps of Shailene Woodley as she works on The Amazing Spider-Man 2. She's the new Mary Jane Watson.

I would guess that because she was on the same location as the Spider-Man-chasing-crook scene from earlier, she's also in that same scene.



We can't be sure this is her costume, though I expect it is. On the other hand, that's definitely her hair. So now we know kinda sort what the new MJ looks like. For whatever it's worth.

its amazing that for perhaps the only time in film history ridiculously attractive, movie star good looks are actually part of the source character, and hollywood just wont take the bait. That's got to be... some sort of a thing... I dont know where I was going with that.

There's bound to be some quite absurd comments on the forum about Woodley's looks. They've already started. Crazy. First of all, she's obviously a cute kid. Secondly, that's not the point of my sharing these pictures, so I'm disappointed to see people just pile onto that.

It reflects far more unpleasantly on anybody making the comments than it ever could on Woodley herself.

She's adorable, but it looks like a complete swap of characteristics between the two love interests. In the first one, Gwen is cool, understanding and super hot, I can't imagine some cute little girl could compete with her.
