Default Rick Remender, The Marvel Summit And The DC Notebook

There was plenty of gossip spinning out of the Marvel Summit. I'm still working through it, but this little one stuck out at a bit of an angle.

Because at the Marvel Summit, the gossip was that Rick Remender was seen to be sporting a brand new DC Comics Corporate notebook.

What did this mean? Had Remender been taking secret meetings at DC? Was he about to cross the floor? Betray Marvel NOW! no sooner than it had started?

No. It was a sketchbook, given to Remender whern he worked there over five years ago. It had the old logo on it for goodness sake.

Honestly, some people will gossip about anything...

DC is such a joke these days, even if they could land a caliber writer like Remender, they wouldn't know what to do with him.

Sorry, this last part can't be shortened.

I'm not sure what 'caliber' Remender actually is. Uncanny X-Force was pretty cool, particularly the Dark Angel Saga. On the other hand, Uncanny Avengers and Captain America....are also comics.
