A big fan of Hickman and I like Jim Cheung. What I'm curious about is how will this connect with Bendis' GOTG or Loeb's Nova? Will Hickman write the whole thing or will Bendis and Loeb be involved? I would very strongly prefer it if Hickman writes the whole thing, because generally he is a class act.

If this means Hickman is writing Marvel's next event, that could be cool. His and Jason Aaron's issues were the best of AVX, as I recall.

It is good news, as long as you weren't hoping for the last 2 issues of SHIELD, because the way things are going Hickman has no intention of finishing it this year. Both him and Dustin Weaver are doing issues of Avengers together, so you can tell it is way down the pecking order. Add in Hickman's Image projects (I think there are 4 of these) plus two Avengers ongoing books and this crossover, I'd put SHIELD 5 & 6 as arriving in 2014 if we are lucky.
