I'm suggesting everyone is lying. Every single person in this discussion. Somewhere, deep down or just below the surface, you know I am right and I know you are right--on some levels--and we are all too stubborn or too egotistical to admit it. I mean, that's the truth right there.

But, in the spirit of things, yes, those fools are lying to you and themselves. Well, I mean, the DC Posse here probably doesn't care for your biz. But, the rest? We're all innocent bystanding possible-customers in a china shop of spandex fantasies and emotional insecurity. Each of us doing our cyber-dance in our own ways to crush one more second of tedium from the banality of not being a hunter/gatherer society anymore.

But, I digress.........much like your shipping schedules...
    Mostly Hairless.

This entire season of DOCTOR WHO is the worst since 2005, and at least the third worst since 1963. Just pure drivel, crafted by committee for the sheeple among us. Enjoy your tepid offerings, my darlings. Lap up the mediocrity and let the banal fluff coat your constantly lowering threshold of satisfaction and acceptance. Burn the heretics who disagree!!

I'm not entirely certain that an estimation of zero can be an over-estimation... unless we actually turn people away from comics... Umm, come to think of it...

Still, I think it's more about giving feedback than tastemaking... And if some are 'emotionally over-invested', Tony Harris and a few people on your side of the fence are not entirely poster-people for calm rationality at times.

"Wowed or cowed"? Wow, have you ever got the wrong cow...

I'm pretty chilled out thanks... If you check back, I'm finding it mildly amusing, with a side-shot of schadenfreude. You're the one dashing around with a fire extinguisher...

    Cheers

He did. But it's a joke living in 2006.

Have you seen how seldom we ship late books anymore?

Oh noes!! I'm JUST like guy you're trying to demonize on other subjects!!! Whatever shall I do!?!?!

And your "mildly amused" schtick is clearly schtick. You are the PICTURE of over invested if you're this concerned about my behavior on a proudly hostile message board.

But fantasy world is fantasy world. I like watching you swim in it.

Way to misrepresent Steve... But I have seen it done much, much better.

And by the way, if we're all so insignificant, and it's a non-issue, why do you keep coming back to it?

It's a bit of a mixed message, ya know?

    Cheers

Not really, because most of the time no one really gives a rodent's rectum.

This particular instance is - I politely suggest - flat out funny, because Marvel hired a really good artist who - for whatever reasons - has a massive track record of running spectacularly late on books and stuck him on a supposedly major(ish) bi-monthly book where, guess what, the book is instantly running late...

If you choose to stick your tongue in the light socket and flick the on switch, people will notice and comment. Personally, if I ever did that, I'd either ignore it or give a rueful grin and admit the irony, but you seem like the guy determined to make it more than a 10 second eyerolling face-palmer we then move on from...

    Cheers

Oh stop. It's a message board. Get some perspective.

Are you really now arguing that the 17 people here have anyone quaking in their boots because of your group's predictable anger at whatever-you-last-heard on-internet?

I'm here because I've been on boards for 2 decades. Not because i fear the anonymous do-nothings on the Bleeding Cool message board. Sparring with dolt-minded, mostly anonymous, know-it-alls who never have to prove their silly theories is just fun for me. Especially when guys like you aren't in on the joke of it all and believe the world is listening.

If I was really that frightened of the hectors and hecklers, I probably wouldn't engage out of fear of your oh-so-scary reprisal or one of the oft promised "petitions" to get me fired based on some posters' ability to dish it out but not take it!

    PETITIONS!!!!

No one's denying the book is late. You're winning a conversation that only you are having.

I'm the one saying it's unfortunate but not the end of the world . You suggest it is.

    Reality agrees with me.
