Default Kno Tablet - Comics Heaven

    Gizmodo (via TechCrunch)

    Yes.

Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes

As you might be able to surmise, I'm interested.

Obviously preference would be for a Pixel Qi screen on this, but I just don't care.
    Dual 14.1" screens!!!
    ZOMGZOMGZOMG!

    Perfect comics reading device.

And yes, I'd EASILY pay a grand or even slightly more for this.

Full Linux or Windows please, Kno!

    EDIT:
If that wasn't enough Asus are prepping a full 15" laptop for late next year with similar ideas:

Stop telling me how things should be, I'm just some cunt on the internet.

So there IS no downside about it.

    GOOD NEWS.

That's how they could sell it; "Buy our Tablet, build your guns, get the girls. Kno it."

Have you seen Kno are now doing a single screen one? For those of us without biceps like Arnie. Bad sign though, when asked in an interview the head of the company said he's looking forward to selling 'thousands'. Surely a bit more confidence?

    Yeah, I know, bit lame.
Maybe their production line is scaled thusly.

I hope that their linux can take new packages, it'd be criminal to have such a potentially powerful device without the option for users to royally fuck with it ;-)

When a company produces something using *nix they're basically waving the banner that says "Ahoy hackers, come and join us"

Yeah, this will (if they get around to a more powerful second model) be a super beautiful hacker/geek tool.

The unfortunate problem is geek hack toys generally end up dying after 6 months on the market!
