I saw this! I have fond memories of Comics & Animation section. What's Willingham's interest, though...? Don't remember him being active there when I was around. That was a loooong time ago, though.

...IIRC, Bill was the only comics professional to ever be banned from CI$. They recruited him to participate on one of their comics forums - may have even gotten him to moderate - but punted him when he basically defended himself against some of his more outspoken critics. Tried doing a google groups search for the old rac* post that detailed what happened, but like a lot of posts from that era they apparently never survived the jump from DejaNews to GG. Maybe Rich can drop him a line and see if he wants to give the short form recollection of the sordid details. Perhaps even dance on CI$ grave
