Look at that. Walking Dead #1 is selling for a five figure sum with an hour-and-a-bit to go. Is that a record for a non-limited comic book published in the twenty-first century?

One has to wonder how long it will be before this particular bubble bursts.
I just don't get it, zombies, just don't get the fascination of US people about them.
Anyway, it will fun to follow this auction, 19 min to go and still $10 k.
I love when people buy a comic for $10,000 that will be worth $1,000 in 10 years
Anybody still got their Ash #1 that they spent a bunch of money on?
Now I'm kicking myself for selling my copy for $300 five years ago.
Makes me wonder if I should sell my copy. I bagged and boarded my copy after quickly flipping through it. Thought the start was a ripoff of 28 Days Later (which I get is one of those bad timing thing now). I eventually enjoyed the series more in trade format.
The show doesn't seem to be in any danger of slowing down, but like MZ9 says, all good things...
If you're thinking of selling it, I'd sell when it's high if I were you
I sold my run of Ultimate Spider-Man #'s 1-40 when it was high and got over $1,500 for the lot. Now I could easily go back and get those books much cheaper (if I was dumb enough to want a book written by Bendis - but I digress!)
