It's true that when donating to most public libraries, the vast majority of items donated will be sold to the public to generate revenue for the library rather than be put into circulation. With many library structures, purchasing and donations are completely separate systems. This is often not the case with private libraries or collections, but they are necessarily quite selective with what they will accept.

Alekesam: at the moment it's a 4 issue miniseries with an open ending that could turn into ongoing if there is enough interest in it. With 4 issues you are getting a full story with a lot of twists and turns and a definite ending, like a Hellboy mini. And if people want more ongoing is a definite possibility!
Cavemold: unfortunately there won't a TPB if enough people don't buy the single issues so I sure hope some of you will pick them up in January, February, March and April of next year. The miniseries is about done so there won't be any delays! It will come out like clockwork every month as long as you ask your local shop to order it.
