    Default Halo: Reach

I'm so sad I went and did the midnight launch for it. Managed to get a few quick matchmaking games under my belt, and a bit of campaign and it's great. I'll need to get a bit further in but it has promise, now I just need to get used to playing Halo after months and months of MW2.

The advertisements for this computer video game made me remember how amazing playing Halo for the very first time was.

Made me want to go out and buy it and play it.
Obviously that would've been difficult without an x-box to play it on, but you get my drift.

Same here actually, feels a lot closer in experience to the first Halo really.

    On single player?

Does that mean it's a relatively involved storyline and experience?

I never played the other Halos, and I only played the first one on X-Box because it was unrepentently shit on the PC (bad port - they forgot to recalibrate for keyboard/mouse) and the graphics optimisation was absolutely terrible (if I'm right that's something they've never quite got over for the PC versions ... correct?

Yeah, single player mode. It's a lot tighter, there's a lot more expected of you than being able to run and gun as Master Chief. You have to be more considered running into combat, it's quite easy to get yourself killed.

Yeah, Halo 2 & 3 felt a bit more relaxed on your approach. You could leap into combat and just run around a bit and not care, and whilst you *can* do that here it's a hell of a lot easier to do that and then get killed.
