Default Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror Series Two - First Image And Episode Titles

Charlie Brooker'sBlack Mirror is headed back to Channel 4 for a second series, and soon. Here's the first still to be released, showing Hayley Atwell and... a blue glowing device of some kind.

A couple of weeks back, Atwell tweeted:
Very excited to be in Black Mirror written by Charlie Brooker on C4 in March. Smart writing...

    ? Hayley Atwell (@HayleyAtwell) January 3, 2013
But dates may have changed. Brooker himself has tweeted tonight that the second series will be starting in "weeks rather than months."

The actual content of the episodes is still secret, though we can likely expect the same satirical sci-fi as the first series, I'm sure. The individual episode titles don't give too many clues:
Black Mirror S2 ep titles: 'Be Right Back', 'The Waldo Moment', and 'White Bear'. C4 soonish. First series back on 4OD: channel4.com/programmes/bla?

    ? Charlie Brooker (@charltonbrooker) January 13, 2013
The above image was published to promote a BFI preview of the new series. If we assume they'd preview episode one, though that's not necessarily a given, and that Brooker gave the titles in order, which is also might not be the case, then this is an image from Be Right Back.

Which makes me speculate, perhaps crazily, about the device in the image above. Is that a recording of a personality? Do you see how I joined the dots?

    We'll find out soon.

In further Brooker TV news, he's also taken a stab at the schedule for his Sky show, the dysfunctional detective parody,A Touch of Cloth.
@anthony_north Not sure but probably spring(ish) for Cloth 2 then autumn(ish) for Cloth 3.

Easter and then August Bank Holiday? Not impossible.

We hope to bring you more on Black Mirror as we get closer to broadcast.

Presumably Robson Green wasn't up for finally getting Jellyback made.

Ah, I got some reveals hidden in Imdb's caverns, but I forgot about them. The following retrieved on Jan 2nd (sorry), it's still there...

The 1st episode is titled "Be Right Back", after chat-room call-sign. Imdb list only two cast members - Domhnall Gleeson as Ash, and Richard Herdman as "Onlooker". The start date is listed as 28 Jan, 2013, making it as with Series 1, a Monday screening. (Two weeks!)

Episode 2 is called "Waldo" and appears to feature an app of the same name, Christina Chong from ITV drama about a neurosurgeon, Monroe, and newcomer Marco Flammer as a biohazard agent. The third episode "White Bear" could refer to a prison company with Lee Nicholas Harris playing a van driver.

Atwell isn't mentioned in the listings but I'd have to go with Ep. 1 (see that pose), or Ep. 2 (the app)

At the end of 2012 wipe I'm sure he said see you in a few weeks, given that it's on BBC has he got anything planned with them or is he so showbiz now he just looks at all the channels as the same?

Yeah, there's a new weekly 'Wipe series coming soon. Might even be called 'Weekly Wipe' (I've forgotten what the name for it is and can't be arsed googling it), but it will be like a mix of Screenwipe, Newswipe and Gameswipe, by all accounts. Should be good.

It's also due to have material from Chris Morris and Adam Curtis in it.

Which series? Black Mirror or Weekly Wipe?

Either way, that sounds like good news to me.
