Default Video: New Monsters University Promo Is Super Nifty

First aired during the Rose Bowl, which I understand is some sporting something involving colleges, this promo for Pixar'sMonsters University eschews plot or main characters for something a little more imaginative.

Visit the website mentioned at the end there, it's a lot of fun. There are even four-armed versions of the Monsters University hoodie available. I think I might have to get myself one.

I just can't get into the idea of a prequel to the original movie, it turns the monsters back into jerks who terrorize kids for electrcity. I would have thought the natural progression from the ending of the film would be to make the monsters into imaginary friends. Imaginary Inc. has such a nice ring to it too.

I understand that some variant on that was pitched at the very least.

Actually, this has been out for some time - I saw it at the theaters...definitely at the Monsters, Inc. re-release last month, but before that, too. Can't recall if it was Wreck It Ralph or Nemo 3D...but it's been out for awhile.
