Default First Red Band Teaser For Seth Rogen And Co.'s Apocalypse Comedy, This Is The End

This Is The End was co-written and co-directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and stars the former as himself, alongside a good number of his regular co-stars, also as themselves.

And as you'll learn from this teaser, a number more of them are dead, presumably killed by whatever blue-beam possessing things we don't quite see but are bringing about the end of the world.

Some of this is very funny.

And now the poster, from Yahoo.

Incidentally, the film is based on a short with the more self explanatory title ofJay and Seth vs. The Apocalypse. I don't think it was ever publicly released in full but here's the trailer.

Edgar Wright's The World's End has some competition for funniest apocalypse movie of 2013.

Well of course. By law, all films must contain James Franco.

I saw a rough cut back in September. Pretty funny. It'll be interesting to see what makes the final cut.

Its interesting that they're all using themselves as the characters.

Does Emma Watson appear in it for more than a small cameo?

Anyway, looks funny, but I expect The World's End to easily surpass it.

The opening with Franco and Rogan was funny. As soon as McBride hit the screen tho' I instantly stopped being interested. Still, the rest of the cast I like so that should outweigh that minus.
    "Walking bones!"
