Default Django Unchained Officially Locked At 2hrs 45mins and 11secs

First we heard that Django Unchained was running to over three hours.

Then we heard that Quentin Tarantino was back in the editing room and trying new ideas.

And then we heard that he had locked the film, ready to present its final version to critics this weekend.

In the meantime, Tarantino said - during a roundtable chat with other directors for The Hollywood Reporter - that "I don't want a 3-hour Django either" while simultaneously refuting any claim that the Weinsteins were putting pressure on him to get snipping. The film is going to come in under 3 hours because that's the way he wants it to be.

Now, tonight, the word is out that the film has been officially locked at 2hrs 45mins and 11secs. We'll be depending on the audience who caught the work in progress cut last month to tell us what is missing.
DJANGO UNCHAINED's officialrunning time: 2hrs 45mins 11secs. Merry Christmas QT fans.

I'd definitely like to talk to that guy who saw it early after it's released, to see just what got cut.
Can someone ask Grant Morrison to give me a haircut?

Don't depend on me you jerk. Not my fault if he cut out anything good. It does drag in the 3rd act but overall it was great.

    So looking forward to this.

And the announcement of QT's next project. Not that I'm greedy.

So the DVD/Blu-Ray will have a half an hour or more of extra scenes. I can't wait to see it.
