Dead Limbs Abound In The First Two Teasers For Bates Motel, The Psycho Prequel

AMC will be premiering their Psycho-prequel TV series Bates Motel in the spring, but they've already got a couple of teaser trailers ready for screening this Sunday night, during The Walking Dead.

Entertainment Weekly scored exclusive early rights to the spots, but they didn't make the videos embeddable. Thankfully, somebody ripped them and put them on YouTube.

In total there's less than 30 seconds of footage, but the teasers are still interesting.

The official site for the show is open, revealing that the premiere episode is called First You Dream, Then You Die. There's a mini-blurb too:

Norma Bates buys a motel on the outskirts of an idyllic coastal town seeking a fresh start with her teenage son, the handsome and shy Norman.

Psycho is one of those things that seems more and more devalued the more media companies try to do with it (and I know there's an easy argument to be made that most "franchises" fall into this category, but I find it esepcially striking here).
